Who this covers

This policy covers domblendz.com, the website of Dom.Blendz, a solo appointment-only barber studio at 215 W Broadway, Suite D, Hobbs, NM 88240. It's written in plain language on purpose — there's nothing here that needs hiding behind legalese.

What this site collects

The site runs its own first-party visit counter — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no third-party scripts watching you. When you visit, it records:

  • The page you viewed and the link that brought you here — the referring site and any campaign tags in the URL (like ?utm_source=instagram).
  • Whether you tapped Book Now, and which button on the page it was.
  • Your country, as reported by our host. Country only — no street address, no GPS, no precise location.
  • Your browser's user-agent string — roughly, "a phone running Safari" or "a laptop running Chrome."
  • A random session ID that lives only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. It stitches one visit together; it cannot recognize you when you come back.
  • A scrambled fingerprint of your IP address. The address itself is never stored — it's one-way hashed with a key that changes every day, so it can't be reversed and can't connect your visits across days. It exists to filter bots and spam, nothing else.

What the counter cannot do: name you, contact you, follow you to other websites, or build a profile of you. This site sets no cookies for visitors — the only cookie in use anywhere is the owner's own login for the private stats page. (Our host, Cloudflare, may occasionally set a short-lived security cookie to fend off bot attacks; it classifies traffic, not people.)

Short links

Links like domblendz.com/ig are our own short links. They forward you to this page and tag the visit with which post, bio, or QR code it came from. That's the entire mechanism — nothing extra is collected on the way through.

Booking runs on Booksy

Tap Book Now and you're on Booksy, the scheduling service that runs the appointment book. The details you enter there — name, phone, email, appointment, and card if you save one — go to Booksy, not to this website. Booksy is its own company with its own privacy policy.

From Booksy, Dom sees what's needed to run the chair: your name, contact details, and appointment history. Card numbers stay with Booksy's payment processor — Dom.Blendz never sees or stores them. Booking confirmations and reminders come from Booksy.

How the data is used

One purpose: knowing which posts, links, and campaigns actually put people in the chair, so effort goes where it works. That means aggregate numbers — visits, taps, bookings — not profiles of people.

Data is never sold, rented, or traded. It's shared with exactly two service providers, and only as far as each needs to function: Cloudflare (hosts the site and stores the visit counts) and Booksy (runs the bookings). Beyond that, information would only ever be disclosed if the law required it.

Photos and video

Every photo and video on this site is real work on real clients in this studio, used with their permission. No stock, no AI. If that's you and you'd like something taken down, one email to privacy@domblendz.com and it's gone.

Retention and your choices

Visit counts are kept for as long as they're useful for running the shop. Because the analytics can't identify you, there's usually nothing to look up under your name — but any privacy question or request gets a direct answer from Dom, not a form letter: privacy@domblendz.com.

For data you gave Booksy (your account, your bookings), Booksy's privacy policy explains their tools for access and deletion.

Kids

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect anything about them. Appointments for minors should be booked by a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new effective date at the top. The date up there is the truth.
